Aviation is the fastest growing contributor to climate change - you produce more carbon dioxide, greenhouse gases with one long-haul return flight than in a year of motoring.

With the annual summer holidays being rapidly booked up, there is an opportunity to reduce the impact on the environment by donating to schemes that reduce carbon emissions - effectively cancelling out your flight.

Both Carbon Neutral (www.carbonneutral.com) & Climate Care (www.climatecare.org) run schemes, where a donation as little as £5 (which would cover the impact of a return flight to the Mediterranean) is put towards schemes such as reforestation and providing energy efficient facilities.
