  • Labour hold onto North Swindon
  • Labour's number of votes has fallen.
  • Labour's share of the vote has fallen by 9.2%
  • There was a staggering 6.7% swing from Labour to the Conservatives.
  • The Conservatives, the only opposition in North Swindon gained 3000 votes on the 2001 campaign, whilst the Liberals fell even further adrift.
  • This was the highest Conservative vote in North Swindon.
  • The 3 minor parties all lost their £500 deposits.
  • Turnout was up on the 2001 election.
